What you can expect from computer software and hardware in the future?
The fruits of the Artificial Intelligence community will trickle through to software and hardware products in many different forms. Software will become cleverer and mimic brain function to overcome problems that we as humans take in our stride. Here are some examples of software we might see in the near future.
- Software that monitors our wellbeing, and makes helpful suggestions
- Software that searches the web for things we want and need. This will happen in the background and will contact us regularly when interesting items have been found. It will be a paid for service and not funded by advertising revenue. As such it will be free to find resources that have no purchase price. The software will need to know our wants for this to work. I liken this to Google on speed, but without the advertising and far broader in scope.
- Software that collects data about us in order to make public and private services more robust, and easier to provide.
